Mettlestate LAN finals set to begin

Mettlestate Galaxy CS:GO Championship 2017 is set to kick off tomorrow with eight teams in attendance.

The tournament which offers one million South African Rand (~$74,000) in cash prizes started with an online stage at the end of which eight teams earned a place at the LAN finals. The finals will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa from May 5-7.

The event will have a double-elimination format and the upper bracket matches will be played in a best-of-one setting. All lower bracket matches and the grand final will be best-of-threes.

Bravado will face Ventus in the first round 

The team list includes Bravado who have been the dominant force in the South African scene for the past few years. The full team list is below:
