ORDER will be Oceania's representative at the ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals after beating Grayhound in the final of the regional qualifier.

Eight teams from across Oceania took part in this double-elimination qualifier for the chance to represent the region at the upcoming Pro League event, where $750,000 will be on the line.

ORDER, who brought in Joshua "INS" Potter and Charlie "zeph" Dodd during the recent Oceanic shuffle, were the first team to secure a spot in the grand final after beating Ground Zero 2-0 and edging past Tainted Minds and Grayhound in close three-map series.

ORDER will attend their first Pro League event

Down to the lower bracket, Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga's men breezed past Chiefs to progress to the final, but they knew they had a mountain to climb to overcome the one-map disadvantage they had heading into the match.

Grayhound were unfazed by the task at hand, however, and levelled the series with a close victory on Cache before ORDER restored a one-map lead with a convincing Dust2 display. The next map, Mirage, went down to the wire, with Grayhound recovering from an 8-14 deficit to take the game to overtime, only to falter in the extra rounds.

This will be ORDER's third-ever appearance at a Big Event, after IEM Katowice and IEM Sydney, both of which took place earlier this year. In the Polish city, the Australian side went out 13th-16th, but they fared better at the tournament down under, where they came close to eliminating Cloud9 in the groups.

The ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals will run from December 4-9 at the Sparekassen Fyn Arena, in Odense, where 16 teams will be facing off for the grand prize of $250,000. The team list for the Danish event currently looks as follows:
